Hungry, Hungry Hippo and yay for Dallas
This has been driving me NUTS! When I feel hungry ALL OF THE TIME and need to eat something before I feel sick, I honestlty feel like I'm a hungry, hungry hippo- always eating and hardly ever feeling satisfied. Don't get me wrong pregnancy is great-especially when you get to hear your babies heartbeat like I did today, but this having to eat so much is killing me! Nothing ever sounds good, unless its completely unhealthy (hello to the 8 pounds I gained on vacation- that's what the drs scale said anyway... I tend to like my scale better). Stress from moving compounds the problem because my wonderful IBS tends to make its presence known in these types of situations, so regardless of what I eat, my tummy ends up hurting anyway. What gives???? Now that I'm in my own surroundings, and after I move next week I will hopefully get into a healthier food routine- stomach and mind willing.
Yay for the stresses of life! No, but really- I'm excited for all of the changes- the place we are moving in is going to be so much nicer than what we are in now- it has a fitness center yay!!!!!!! Now I will have a variety of ways I can lift weights and do cardio. I'm SO EXCITED! It also has a pool- which hopefully I will be able to practice my swimming in, although the hubbs said its not lap-pool material. I might just have to prove him wrong... :) AND, there is a bike trail right outside the apartment complex!!!!!!!!! Could there really be a better set up to train for my upcoming traithlon? I think not! I am so excited for all of the hiking and bike/running trails there are in Dallas I can hardly contain it!
Another dream of mine is coming to reality- There's a full-fledged farmers market in Dallas! WAHOO! Its even opened most days of the year, during normal times of the day. Guess where I'm going to do my produce shopping????
Oh, and don't even get me going on the shopping... I actually don't have to drive 2 hours to get to a Target! What a concept!
Sorry hobbs people, I love you, but I would be lying if I wans't happy to leave the state of New Mexico. Can't I just take you all with me and we can all be happy campers in Dallas? PLEASE????? We will miss you terribly, but Dallas here we come!
