Happy Valentine's Day and some news!

Hey everyone!  Hope you are having a fantastic Valentines Day!  We are at our house.  My wonderful husband got me a gift card to Hobby Lobby!  I can't wait to get more fabric for my quilting projects I've started (pictures to come!).  That man just knows what I like!

We have some news-
We are moving!

Okay, old news-we knew that was happening, but we have now officially heard the when and where-

When: March 31
Where: Webster, Texas-right outside of Houston!!!!!!

I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!!   YAY FOR NO SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In all honesty, I was not looking forward to living in Maine, in the fridged cold and snow for 3 years.  This SoCal girl just would not enjoy that!  So, my prayers were answered, and we are being sent even farther south which is absolutely fine for me!  I will miss my friends in New Mexico terribly, but I won't miss the state too much. In Houston they have trees!  And, in Houston my skin won't feel like leather and itch all of the time.  In Houston they have farmer's markets and food co-ops (can you see me jump for joy!),  in Houston I will live 30 minutes from the gulf coast.  Oh, it will feel so good not to be LAND-LOCKED anymore.  This Cali girl is itching for some sand and water!  It will be oh so nice!  We have already looked at housing and the prospects look very promising-pools, fitness centers,  and playgrounds at most of the apartment complexes!  WAHOO!!!!!!  We will be living it up.  Its cheaper than having to rent in Hobbs, and we get more for what we pay for!  I am so excited!!!!!!!

Can you tell that I'm excited!  Big news in the Johnson household.  YAY!

Is it March 31st yet?

If you're excited, then I'll be excited for you.
I never want to move! That would be the worst news ever! We live close to family. I love our ward and our house. (And I HATE the actual process of moving.)

I'm used to the fact of moving, because my husband's job requires that we move every few years as projects finish and such. And I haven't lived close to my family since I moved away from home to go to college. You are lucky that you are so close! I think it is exciting to get out of New Mexico and live in a more populated area. And, I get to be by the beach!
