A gallon a day
Those of you who read trainer momma know that advocates drinking a gallon of water a day. I've never done that because I thought it was too much water. I've been good at drinking 64 ounces a day (the recommended 8 8ounce glasses of water thing). Because I am pregnant I figured I could probably use more water, so I tried drinking a gallon of water on Wednesday. It was a success! And... I did it again yesterday. Short term effects are okay-I do feel more hydrated and have fewer headaches, but I hate going to the bathroom every twenty minutes. If I don't I may very well have an accident. But, guess in the long run, I will benefit because of doing this, so I'm going to continue. Luckily I have a 32 ounce water bottle, so if I fill that 4 times during the day and drink them all, I will have drunk a gallon. My husband laughs at me when I have to go to the bathroom 2 times right before bed, but when you combine being pregnant and trying to finish your last 32 ounce, that can happen to a girl.
Anyhow, I'm thinkin I like this challenge, and I will continue to do it. Who else around here is drinking a gallon a day? How has it helped you?

Flylady.net suggests that you use a timer to remind you to drink your water. Maybe I should try that.
