Goals for March
I feel like I'm at a standstill with this losing weight thing. I know I can do it, because I've done it before. It just never happens as fast as you'd like, you know? And when I was pregnant I let myself indulge a little more than I probably should have eating sweets more often and eating out more often. I tell you what, that has been something that is hard to break.
I love having a late night snack, and it is all too often some sort of dessert that I made on Sunday that is sitting around the house.
Anyhow, some goals for next month to get myself back on track:
1. ONLY eat sweets on days that start with S. Something that is difficult, but I think I need to do this. We are visiting family in the middle of March for a week, which will be challenging but not impossible. I'll keep you posted on that success.
2. Weigh myself once a week. I've become obsessed with weighing myself every morning, and although I wasn't getting depressed about it, my weight just jumps all over the place every day. One day I would see it the lowest it had been and the next I would weigh two or three pounds heavier. So, no more of that, back to once a week.
3. To also measure my success I will measure myself once every week or two to see the physical change a little easier. I think that will be a more positive experience.
4. Try barley as my grain for this month.
Wish me luck!
