2 weeks till I Tri

Two weeks from yesterday we make our trip to San Antonio for the Windcrest Freshman Triathlon.  Two weeks from today I do my first triathlon ever!  My thoughts are these:

-nervous as all get out.
-why am I doing this 20 weeks pregnant?
-why am I doing this period?
-I'm not a swimmer (still haven't really touched a pool much...)
-I'm not a supreme biker, or even a decent one-I don't have a road bike, mine is a lovely mountain bike.
-What am I going to wear?  My tummy is really starting to bolge, and i hope I found the right things to wear, and that I still fit in them by the 30th.
-AH its two weeks away and I'm not ready!
-I almost cried when I went on my first bike ride here in Dallas because I felt so inferior to all the bikers I knew would be on the trail today...
-What about the swimming?
-Should I run or walk- I can run still, but I think I'm just going to feel it out on that da and see how I feel.  I think I'm going to run.  Its two miles for heaven sakes!  We'll see
-I'm so excited to meet the trainermomma!
-I'm so excited to do my first tri!
-I'm so excited to say I did my first tri when I was 20 weeks pregnant!
-I'm so excited to meet the trainermomma!
-I am nervous, nervous, nervous!
-I'm grateful for a husband who is super super supportive.
-If this goes well, I might, I just might do more in the future-this time after I'm pregnant.  Races are the best way to become a fit and healthy momma!

I can't believe its almost time for the tri!  AH!

You can do it! If you're nervous about running maybe try a planned run walk combo? Run for a few minutes then walk for a minute. THen you'll know you can do it no matter what! I am anxious to hear how it goes. Good luck!

It is so awesome what you are doing! Good Luck! I wish I could be there to cheer you on. I know this isn't has dramatic as a triathalon when you are 20 weeks preggy but we signed Hunter up for a 3-4 year old soccer league and some how I became his soccer coach. I have 6 weeks until I give birth and I'm running around coaching soccer. What we do for our kids.

I totally get where you are coming from. I'm as round as a house, sister -- so stick with me and you'll feel like an Olympian! I think 3 people at church today asked me if I'm having twins.

Don't worry about the swim, you can bounce off the bottom with your toes if you need to! Do keep a little food handy at transition just in case you start feeling a little yucky.

Don't worry about speed AT ALL, just enjoy it, do it as a leisurely pace and you'll be all smiles at the end. See you in 13 days!
