The Worth of Souls is GREAT- D&C 18:10-11

This week's  scripture of the week is very important to me. It first really pulled  at my heart strings when I was a teenager. Every teenager, and every person really, struggles at times with feelings of inadequacy and frustration towards ourselves for what we lack. The world is always so blaring loud with perfection. You see it all over the internet. Instagram is full of perfect pictures of people have "perfect" lives (such a lie by the way). Every body wants the perfect body. The perfect hair. No wonder why so many of us have such a hard time liking ourselves!

This scripture gives me hope. We are worth something. God thinks we are worth everything. He thinks that  we are SO WORTH IT that He sent His only begotten Son to experience pain  of all men, of anyone who has ever lived on the earth. Because we are worth it.

So when you feel down this week, and your mind is going a mile a minute spewing negative thoughts about the way you  look, the mistakes you made that morning take  a second to stop. Breath deep (Inhale. Exhale.). And then look at the scripture this week. You are worth it. God thinks so. Christ thinks so. Yo momma thinks so. And I think so.
