Circuit Training
So the circuit training I do comes from my weight loss program I do online. It gives me different circuit training workouts to do every day. Its weight lifting/strength training, plus sudden burst of cardio. They believe that this is the best way to burn calories. I think its a great way to be sore, which must mean it is working. Its from JillianMichaels.com. Here is my workout for Tuesday of this week:
Tuesday:
Circuit 1:
1)Wide Grip Pulldown 3 sets of 15
2) Lying Leg Raises 3 sets of 15
3) Jumping Jacks 3 sets of 1 minute
Circuit 2:
1) Seated row 3 sets of 15
2)Cross-over Lunge 3 sets of 15
3) Straight Leg Squat (This is hard, couldn't really do it) 3 sets of one minute
Circuit 3:
1)Backward Lunge 3 sets of 15
2) Jumping Squat 3 sets of 15
Circuit 4:
1)Reverse-Grip Curls 3 sets of 15
2) Scissors 3 sets of 15
3) Jumping Jacks 3 sets of 1 minute
Circuit 5:
1) Hammer Curls 3 sets of 15
2)Reverse Crunches 3 sets of 15
3) Jumping Rope 3 sets of 1 minute
I like it. This workout plan has me doing circuit training 4 days a week and cardio one day a week. The other two days are off days. I do this training with my running so I don't have as many days off (like I did not run last night because it was raining, and the babe couldn't be in the rain. If I did not have to run I would have not exercised today). I really like it and I think its fun.
