Ah, Mondays
The day to start over, to start anew, to start afresh. The day that your work starts over again for the week. That is what my Monday is like-filled with laundry, dishes, and cleaning. All must get done, even if I don't want to do it. Today is also a fun day because we have a play date this afternoon (always fun and welcome!) and we are going to the County Fair for family night. I LOVE going to the fair, mostly to see the food entrys, and how well they decorate their squash. Such good times!
Mondays are also a time to set goals for the week. This week my goals are much the same as last week:
1. Practice the piano at least 30 minutes every day.
2. Write in my journal, read scriptures (morning:general conference talks, and night:The Book of Mormon), and pray (morning, night, meals, and whenever I feel like it) on a daily basis.
3. Spend as much time as I can with Kinsey, and when I have to do chores include her in them (she LOVES to push the dishwasher closed.)
4. Work on teaching her new things. She has become proficient on finding her bellybutton and nose. Today I started teaching her what an ear was. So fun! She gets so excited to find them. Soo this week is ear, and maybe moving onto eyes.
5. Crochet-working on my project, maybe even finishing it.
6. Read whenever I can (reading The Rainmaker by John Grisham right now).
7.Prepare for a trip to Lincoln on Friday/Saturday. We want to go to the Billy The Kid festival. They also have an organic farm there that I want to get peaches from so I can can (thats funny) peaches next Monday. We are in desperate need of canned peaches. Our supply is LOW.
8. Try and have most if not all of our dinners at the dinner table without the tv on.
9. Make time for my sweet husband.
10. Last but not least I must exercise 6 days this week eat healthy, and write everything I eat down. Got to keep that bod strong and healthy!
I think that my goals will help me as I work towards achieving greater health this week.
