Preparations
Tomorrow the girly and I set out for the beautiful state of South Carolina to visit my husband's parents. We are spending a week there, and my hsuband is meeting us there on Friday. It is going to be so nice to see his parents. Its been a pretty long time. I miss the green and trees of the South so it will be fun to see that too! We are so excited to spend time with K's grandma, pop-pop, as well as some aunts, uncles and cousins. Can't wait!
With a vacation comes preparations. I'm mostly worried about what we are going to eat on the flight. I plan on packing food for the both of us for the entire trip, so I am not tempted to eat the snacks they try to give me or some airport food. We will have sandwiches for lunch, as well as some cut up veggies. I am bringing some bananas. We will eat breakfast on the way there (its 1 1/2 hours to the closest airport. We get to leave at 7 in the morning. So fun! :/). Snacks will include fiber bars (I'm making those today, without chocolate chips, but with dried cherries in their place), the afore-mentioned veggies and fruit, as well as crackers that I will hopefully get motivated to make today as well. If I don't get that far, then whole-grain goldfish will have to suffice. I think that will be plenty of food for us.
Laundry is also on the to-do-list, as well as packing, and hopefully exercising. I missed Saturday and I may miss today because I have not been feeling well. My tummy has been rather icky, and they say if you feel sick from the neck down, do not exercise. I may do something like going for a walk instead. We will see how I feel as the day goes on. Right now, its a no go. I hope I stop feeling sick by tomorrow. I need those workouts during the trip to make sure I just stay healthy and don't gain weight. I hate missing workout days. Anyhow, this is my list. I hope you all have a fantastic week! I am so excited to just relax and spend time with family this week! Yay for vacations!
