Back Home

We are home after a very fun week in South Carolina visiting my husband's parents.  We had an absolute blast.  I even ate pretty healthy still, which is wonderful.  I did not worry about writing what I ate down, or calculating EVERY calorie.  I did make sure I did not overeat, and that I drank a ton of water.  I did workout half of the days.  I wish I did better, but at least I did that.  It felt fantastic, and I feel as though it was a successful week.  K hadn't seen her grandparents for a 6 months or so, so they had a blast playing with each other.  It was pretty great for me.  I got some naps in as well as lots of reading in.  I am half-way through Count of Monte Cristo.  I love it so far, although it can be hard to follow sometimes.  Its still a very engaging story, and makes you think, which allows me to challenge my mind even though I am not in school anymore.  Its wonderful!

So, today I get back to business.  Lots to do, and I haven't really wrapped my mind around it.  The most important of things are:

Exercise
Play the piano
Read the scriptures
Play with K.
Write down everything I eat.

Other things that need to get done today and sometime this week are:

Unpack (my least favorite part of traveling)
Look over bills.  Pay any that are due this week.  Update register.
Clean the house
Plan meals and go grocery shopping.
Schedule visiting teaching
Watch last week's White Collar and Covert Affairs today before tonights episodes (two of my favorite shows!)

I'm sure more will be added to the list, but for right now, I think that this list is a good start.  Its probably not what you were wanting to read this fine Tuesdsay morning, but I find if I write down what I want to get done for the day, or week, I am very much more likely to get it accomplished.

What is most pressing on your list this week?
