My new crazy and insane plan

So today I decided that it would be fun to do some races while I was in CA for thanksgiving-I feel race deprived- I would have to drive 5 hours for a decent race-not my idea of fun racing...  So, I searched for CA races during my trip.  There were so many to choose from!  So are you ready for my CRAZY and INSANE new goal????????

I'm going to train for and run a MARATHON in ONE MONTH!  I know is crazy, and insane, but I think I can do it.  I found a few articles that said I could- if you are already running 6 milers, and can run a 12 miler (I am going to try that tomorrow I think.....) then you can train for a marathon in a month (so says an article on runnersworld.com).  So, I'm going to train for a marathon.  In one month.  I am already having doubts because it is so crazy, but I think I can do it.  Hopefully. 

Here is my schedule:
Week 1:
10/25: 4 miles
10/26: 6 miles
10/28: 4 miles
10/30: 12 miles

Week 2:
11/1: 5 miles
11/2: 8 miles
11/4: 5 miles
11/6: 13-15 miles (preferably 15)

Week 3:
11/8: 5 miles
11/10: 8 miles
11/11: 9 miles
11/13: 16-18 miles (preferably 18)

Race week:
11/15: 5 miles
11/16: 12 miles
11/18: 3 miles
11/20 Race day: Fishbowl Run, 26.3 miles-Fountain Valley, CA.

Anyone want to join me?

Am I crazy?  I hope I can do it!

I think you are totally crazy and insane but I think it sounds like an awesome challenge and I am sure you can do it!!! Just be sure to be kind and ice those poor knees!

Oh sheesh, I would but I've just been jogging here and there so I don't think I can run out 4 miles right now...maybe 2?
