A hundred different directions

Yesterday was a weird kind of day.  I did an awesome new workout (the Bob Harper workout dvds kick some serious tushy, no joke...).  I had fun playing with my daughter outside.  But a lot of the day I just felt bleh.  Not sick, but just bleh.  I had little motivation to do much.  I felt sorry for myself because I live so far away from family and because my daughter kept asking for daddy when he was at work.  It was just an off day.  As it is the beginning of a brand new year, I have been trying to think of new goals but I just haven't made much headway in that direction.  I suppose my goals would be a continuation of what I have been trying to accomplish:
  • Eat healthy.
  • Record what I eat
  • Exercise 5-6 days a week
  • Spend more time playing with my gal.
  • Use extra time to seek worthwhile pursuits (I really want to become better at sewing...)
  • Write in my journal at least once a week.  I don't know what but this is just hard for me.  I used to be so good at it when I was a teenager, but once I got married it just became harder.
  • Long term goal: Stay at a healthy weight- working on getting back down to 122.  I hope I can get there.  We will see what the coming months hold in that regard.  If I exercise and eat right it should work.  Weekends are hard for me though.
  • Work on having better control on the weekends: When I have dessert it is okay to have one and be done with it.  I can make it again a week later if I want it so bad.  That is what I have a hard time with.  I think my goal for this is to allow myself to have a dessert or two on the weekend, but make sure it is in my calorie allottment, and not go overboard on eating period.  That is my goal: Still exercise portion control on the weekends, even though I may not necessarily be counting calories.  I can do that.
Okay, so maybe i do have a lot of goals.  I hope I can do them, especially the weekend one.  Well, I hope you have a good day and I pray that we can all achieve our goals we have made for this year!

What is your biggest new years resolution?
