Day two

Man when you are trying to get off of snacking extra, it is H-A-R-D!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Yesterday I was so moody!  But, I did it!  I did not snack extra-no sneaking any of the girl's leftover food, no goldfish, no extra snacks at night (I made sure to make one of my two snacks to be eaten after dinner, so I still got my night snack but it was ALLOWED because I had enough calories.  I wish I would have thought of that sooner!).  It was VERY, VERY, VERY difficult, but so WORTH it, because today is better.  I've been able to say no to extra snacking.  I did lick the bowl a little bit when I was making the Apple Cranberry Bread (recipe will be up later today) that my husband requested for breakfast this week.  I wanted to make sure it tasted right.  You don't want to be cooking something that is yucky yucky.  At least I didn't go overboard.  I'm feeling really good right now.  Hopefully my control doesn't wain when I go to Book Club tonight.  I really do not know what to expect.  We shall see.  Now that i have mentioned it though, hopefully I will have the will power because you know and I don't want to disappoint you.

Official Day to of training turned out really well too.  I ran 6.5 miles, and my time was the best I had done in a very long time- mostly ten minute miles!  My first mile was 8 1/2 minutes, which is my best time like EVER.  WAHOO!  Hopefully I will be ready for a marathon.  I will train for it, but we will see how I am when I get to that point- it may just be a 1/2, depending on how my body responds to training.  Either way I am running and training for something.  In two weeks after I try to run 18 miles, or maybe this week after I try and run a half... Time will tell.
