feel better now

I think in the last 3 hours my mind has seen perspective, and I am not so mad about my weigh in this morning, still not happy with it, but I have just decided to work harder this week. I just worked out for almost 2 hours (one hour of circuit training, 4o minutes cardio) and I feel better. The workouts went well, and fast. I was just thinking about everything during them. I have decided that I need to figure out a game plan for thanksgiving before Thursday and write it down and decide to say now to extra helpings and now to more than one slice of pie. I need to be more specific. It will be kind of hard because i am not cooking the meal, but I will try my best to eat well next week. Argh, so stressful!

Ok...so this might be totally off base, and totally not right...but as I was thinking about your weigh in I had the thought, "Ya know...I wonder if maybe she didn't really gain weight this week, if maybe something could've just gone wrong with the scale last week, and she really lost her usual 2 lbs, and then another 2 this week..." 11 lbs all at once seems CRAZY, so maybe the scale malfunctioned, or was on a sinky part of the floor or something. It could happen right? Yes yes...I think we should go with that. Makes a lot more sense. That means you steadily lost 2 pounds both weeks!!! Go you!!!! :)

Alisa -- you are doing fantastic. Don't let those fickle numbers throw you. You are totally on target and beyond your goal -- the big picture matters here. Stick with it!
