Last chance workout
Today is the day before weigh-in. I always weigh-in right after I wake up on Fridays, so Thursdays are my last chance workout days (I know I stole the name from Biggest Loser, but I love that show!). So, I feel pretty confident that I at least maintained my weight if not lost some this week. It was hard to stay on the wagon when my parents were hear. Instead of completely saying no to some of the treats I let myself have bitesize pieces here and there so I did not feel left out and deprived. My last chance workout went very well. I did 65 minutes of circuit training and 40 minutes of "The Firm" dvd "Cardio Party". All told, that was around 1004 calories burned (at least that is what I calculated on the diet program I am doing)! One thing that I was good at even when my parents were here was working out. Yesterday my dad and I went to the gym together and I had a great workout! I figured out that I need to buy ten-pound weights now (I have been using 5 pounders). So, I am sore from that, meaining that the workout definitely worked! YES!!!!! Anyways, if you can tell, I feel great. I think I am finally learning to not absolutely kick myself in the behind when I fall off the wagon. I am realizing that its okay to make mistakes as long as I try harder next time and do it better. I felt control when my parents were hear, which is a huge change! Usually when I visit my family, we eat all the time. So, that was a nice change! Love it! Okay, enough of my rambling. But really, I feel good about my last chance workout! Can't wait to see if this week went well in the weight loss department. You can tell if I am not happy about it if I don't write something right away in the morning, but hopefully there will be a post bright and early!!!
