So excited!!!!
Okay, so I am getting kind of tired of just following a list of workouts and doing them while I watch tv (my circuit training), and I desperately needed a change in my cardio workout, so when I was shopping at walmart I bought to new workout dvds. I love workout dvds way better than going to the gym, and they are a lot cheaper than going to the gym as well... I got a Dancing With the Stars cardio dvd (I really have been kind of interested in taking dance lessons, because I hear that is a killer workout, so I bought a dvd that would give me them!), and Jillian Michaels "No More Trouble Zones", which is a circuit training workout dvd. I am so excited to try them today.
Also, I started walking/ running with my friends Emily and Erin. They were inspired to start walking when one day Emily watched Kinsey as Scott and I ran twelve miles. They told me that they were sititng them and Erin said something like "Man, here are Alisa and Scott running 12 miles, and we are sitting on our bums doing nothing." So, they decided to walk. Kind of cool to have inspired them! As of yesterday though, which is even more exciting, is that Emily said that there is a 5K in Mount Airy in december that she wants to run in. I don't think she was that serious about it until I said excitedly "Yes, lets do it! That will be so much fun!!!!!" So, I think we are going to run a 5k in december. I know I can do it, and Erin can run a mile (we ran one together yesterday after Emily had to leave), and we need to get Emily a jogging stroller (her baby is only 5 weeks younger than mine) so that she can start running too! I am super excited! It is always fun to do things with friends, and even better when it is exercising. Lots better than eating together, I say!
What else... my journaling went well yesterday! I miss writing in my journal. I was super good at it in high school. But since I got married I have kind of stopped writing in my journal. Whenever I do I certainly realize how much I miss it. So, today is day two of journal writing and journal logging for my food habits! Wish me luck!

I looked at the training schedule you did for your 1/2 marathon and it says you should be running for at least 4 weeks previous and be able to run for 30 minutes without stopping. Were you already there when you started???
