Guess What

Today was a glorious day! I thought, "Well, I did lose 3 pounds last week, I wonder..." So, I grabbed my size ten jeans from my dresser, where they have patiently been waiting to be worn for quite some time, and put them on. The legs fit perfect! AND, I did not have to suck in my belly to button them. So, what do you think I did? I wore them! You bet ya! I was so excited! I went to walmart to get a few things for the surprise party the young men wanted to throw my husband, and when I was at walmart I felt so confident and pretty because I was wearing some of my almost-skinny jeans. One more size down to go and then I will be back to the size I was before. Wahoo! It was simply a glorious day!

I was looking back today at my aha moment I had in July, when I ran with my family in California, and couldn't even run a mile without huffing and puffing. Because of that moment I first set a goal to be able to run 3 miles and pretty soon it was to run 13.1 miles. That jumpstarted my weight loss. I have lost more than 25 pounds since August! That is aweomse!!!!!!! I am glad that I did not just give up and resign myself to the obese state I was in after I had my baby. It has been so worth it to change my lifestyle and my health, a lifelong change at that, so that I can be a better wife and mother, and so that I can be more confident in myself. I feel so good! LOVE IT!

*To anyone who is considering weightloss: Do it! Don't consider it. Just do it! The work you do to better yourself and become more healthy is worth it. Its hard, but SO worth it! I can't imagine what my life would be like now if I was still in that state. Thank goodness I decided to make a change and I took action to do it! Its so worth it! Do it! Just do it!
