How much is too much?

My cousin Kristi raised a good point, on her blog, about how we need to achieve balance in our life. Her comments led me to ponder on what I am doing. I am kind of been at a weightloss plateau these last few weeks. Why is that? What can I do to change? Am I working out too much? How long should I workout to achieve optimal results, but still stay sane. Just sometimes I worry, like her, if I have balance in my life. So, I am going to try and practice balance the next few weeks.

I guess during this month I can start by focusing on the reason why we have Christmas, which is the Savior. He is the greatest example of how we should live. I think a new goal I have that I want to achieve by the end of the month is to read the four gospels in the New Testament. I think that will help me refocus. I think that it will help me know my Savior a little more. It will also help me remember the true reason for Christmas. I really don't want to get rapped up in the commercial aspects of Christmastime. This will do it. Yay for goals!!!!

Speaking of the Savior and stuff, I just want to remind those who know about it and invite those who don't know about it, to watch the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints First Presidency Christmas devotional this Sunday, Dec 6, at 6 pm MST. They hold a Christmas devotional annually. It is awesome with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and speakers. Love it! I will be watching. You can find more information on it here:

Balance is sooo important. When you do too much, focus too much on losing weight -- burnout takes over and nothing gets done. You will find what works for you, no doubt.
