One of my favorites
For my snacks during the day I often just put something together that is 150 calories. I don't follow any recipe or anything, although there was a cookbook called "100 calorie snacks" that I would like to get, even though my husband says I don't need it! Anyhow. I created a snack that I think is SO GOOD! Here it is:
1 small banana
1/4 c frozen blueberries (they have to be frozen. It makes the snack!)
2 tbs grape nuts (one of my favorite things to add to almost everything! It gives a little crunch! You got to be careful though because it is high in calorie, which is why I just use a tablespoon here or there).
That's it. I put it in a glass cup to feel all fancy and like I am eating a dessert from a restaurant (true story). I LOVE THIS SNACK! It is so simple but so good. You do have to have frozen blueberries. It is SO refreshing that way. YUM! I can't wait to have it again today!
