Thank you!

Thank you all for being so supportive! Its nice to have friends that support me in my goals and want to see me accomplish them.

I do not want to say this weightloss thing has been easy, because it has not, but it has been easier as I have kept this blog, and as you, my friends and family, have continued to read it and have given me encouragement to reach my goals. You have made it easier. I feel confident that this weightloss will stick because I made myself accountable. People know my goals, and because people know them, and because I write them down, they have happened! I did not lose weight by some crazy diet. I did it through eating sensibly and exercising. People say counting calories and controlling your diet is so confining, but I don't think that is so. I feel so free because I can say no to food. I realize that the food will be there later and I can hae some later. I don't have to eat everything now. There is power in that! There is freedom in having the ability to control what you eat because you don't have your mind telling you, "Gotta have it. I gotta have it RIGHT NOW!"

Even though it can be tiring counting and recording my food all of the time, its worth it because it keeps me accountable and keeps me on the right track.

So, thank you for helping me stay accountable and for staying with me through this weightloss I am going through. You make it easier! As I am finishing this weightloss thing, I am definitely going to keep this blog-just ever post won't be about weightloss. What's my next big thing? Graduating. I think after July, when I will graduate, I am going to create a book list and read books I have been wanting to read, but have not had time to because of school. I LOVE READING! An exercise goal would be nice to have too, like do another race or something. I will have to think about it.

Anyhow, I always just jabber when I write these posts. They are my free-writing activity for the day (something I read in my class said htat to find your voice you should free-write daily, so this is it). I just write what comes to my mind!
