Why I started
One my friends talked a little bit about my blog to me, and asked me if it had helped me lose weight. There is no doubt in my mind that writing down my weightloss, exercise and healthy goals helped me lose weight and become healthier. Writing it down on this blog helped, because I was making myself accountable. I did not hide anything-my ups and my downs, when I lost a few pounds one week, or gained one the next. I have been so blessed by the support that you my friends and family have been giving me. I have gone into each week knowing that if I work hard, I will not dissapoint my family and friends, and that is the main reason I kept on going, even during the really tough times. This is why I started this blog. There is not doubt I will continue, even after I get to my ultimite goal, because there will always be times when I struggle- always those times when I want to eat 10 cookies in 1 sitting (or twenty...), and I will need to write about it, because that is the way I recognize my issues, and that is the way I solve them, and I know that if I write them down, it is easier to stay away from those cookies the next time, because I know you will be watching what I do.
I also asked my friend, who wants to make some weightloss goals, to email me her goals so that she can have someone she is accountable to besides herself. And she did, and I am so grateful for that. I am definitely not a certified trainer, or a certified nutritionist. I only have been doing this whole healthy thing for 9-ish months now, but I have learned a lot, especially that it helps to have people in the know. So, this comes to my proposal, my help line if you will... I would feel bad if I offered to her something I did not offer to you, so my proposal is, that if you have made weightloss goals, or want to make weightloss goals, or just any kind of goal that you to fulfill, and I mean really fulfill and not wish you did, then email me your goals. I can be your advocate. You can let me know of your progress, just like I let you know of mine. We can work together to help accomplish your goals. I would love to help in anyway possible, it's the least I can do for all of the help you guys have given me.
