Bummer!
So, yesterday I decided to give the Heavenly Homemakers hamburger bun recipe another go. No dice. They were tiny and hard as a rock. So then I tried another recipe, and they were absolutely tasty and yummy, until I found out that they were 270 calories! OUCH! Seriously! I can't wait till I can try a whole wheat hamburger bun recipe and have it work. I think my cousin Kristi, who is one of my heroes, read my mind or something, or we are on the same wavelength, because she just posted a recipe for hamburger buns. Hopefully my unfortunate streak with hamburger buns is over. Next week I am going to try this recipe she made (that looks delicious I might add!), and hopefully I will be able to turn out some good hamburger buns that were not 270 calories! You should see the type of mood I get in when something I bake just doesn't turn out. My poor husband and daughter! K woke up an hour after we put her down, and just wanted mommy. I think it was because when she went to bed, I was in a cranky mood. She helped me do my last few ab exercises and stretches (during the Mentalist, which I am not sure I was glad I watched, it was scary. Me + scary stuff=not good). But, I loved having her cuddle with me for a bit, after which I promptly put her to bed and she did nto make a sound. Love that girl!

And, i am the same way - if I put all that time and effort into something only to have it turn out badly... I am not a happy camper! ;)
