caved in
Last night I caved in and had a snack. It was an eight oz cup of cereal. Not as bad as it could have been, because there were peanut butter cookies calling my name. I was waiting up for the hubby because he was playing basketball at the church, and I was getting hungry, so I chose the cereal over the cookie, because I knew it would make my tummy feel a little better than the cookie would. You see, high fat content and I don't get along. It is not because i am trying to lose weight, but my tummy doesn't like it. So, as far as peanut butter and things like that are concerned, I have to be reallyl moderate on or my tummy will bloat and make me look like I am five months preggo. Needless to say, I am glad I chose the cereal.
On Tuesday I was watching the biggest loser and the did a trainer tip moment before commercials. Jillian Micheals did this tip about eating. She said that you should be super good for two days of the week, pretty good for the next three days of the week, and a lot less strict on the weekends-not that you should go all willy nilly with the unhealthy stuff, but not worry about your calorie count as much. She says it confuses the body and keeps it guessing, because strict calorie restriction every day can cause the body to go into starvation mode and store fat for energy. It seems like it makes sense, and I am a little more lact the last half of the week, but what do you guys think? I am going to decide if I should follow this. We shall see.
While I am weighing the options, I must make sure today is good. I need to exercise hard, and eat well. Hope your day is filled with joyful things too!
