idk
I think that means "I don't know", but I don't know for sure....not up on the whole texting logo besides ur. Everything else to me is like another language. Anyhow, that is what I think it means, and I wrote that because I did not know what to write as I opened this post, but I really try to write a post every day. A few things about today I liked, that I am sure will help anyone in their quest to be healthy:
1. Getting a hair cut is truly theraputic. I got one today, and it is exactly what I needed! I hadn't gotten it cut for three months, and for me, that is a long time, but I did not have a stylist. Last week I said that enough was enough, and called someone that was recommended to me. I loved her! She did a great job with my hair! Pictures to come later. But, seriously, I needed that change. I feel prettier because of it (I know, I know, it doesn't matter what your hair looks like you're still pretty- true principle for everyone, but I feel pretty when my hair is done pretty).
2. Going on a date with your "someone special" is a must for keeping the flame alive and for keeping your marriage safe from harm. Scott and I had an Elders Quorem activity tonight- it was kind of like a date night. We watched a movie about Emma Smith and ate pizza and soda (okay, he did. I brought a sandwich and veggies-not only for the diet, but I am lactose-intolerant. I wanted to avoid the consquences). I went thinking that I would say no to pizza and yes to dessert (a girl has got to live a little!), but when Scott told me all it was is brownies with whipped cream and strawberries, I was like, oh, doesn't sound good (not that I don't like strawberries and chocolate, but another dairy product-whipped cream.). Who knows about how much butter is in that!?! So, I avoided the dessert and came home to a lovely little fiber bar. YUM!!!!
3. Being a mom is SO worth it, even when you want to pull your hair out. I love my little daughter. She is seriously a tender mercy from the Lord. I love that she shrugs her shoulders. I love that she runs away from me when I say, "I'm going to get you!" And squeels when I catch her. I love her smile and her kisses. I love it when she cuddles (a rare occassion). I love it when she cuddles her blankies (they get more hugs than we do). She is so just worth everything. I do what I do because of my daughter and husband. They are my life. Definitely something worth being healthy for!
Some words for thought...
P.S. I just thought about the order I put these in, they were not in any particular order, but of course I saved the best for last-as she says to herself, "Nice save Alisa"....
